A man was arrested on Wednesday in Florida for allegedly opening a “baton rouger” clinic at a local Walmart store, authorities said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the incident took place at the Walmart at 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, and that the suspect is a 39-year-old male from Tampa, according to WPTV.
The suspect allegedly opened the door to the store and walked up to a customer, identified as David Hester, who was waiting for his order.
The two began to argue, and the suspect grabbed Hester by the arm and pushed him out of the store, the report said.
Hester was taken to the hospital where he underwent a physical and has since been released, according the report.
The report did not specify what type of weapon was used, but a Walmart spokesperson told WPTV that the store is not a gun-free zone.
